S'mores French Toast

Who says you can’t have S’mores for breakfast?


  • 4 slices Mrs Baird’s® Small White Bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 chocolate bars, broken into rectangles
  • 6 large marshmallows, halved and roasted
  • Chocolate sauce, to serve


1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla and salt.

2. Dip bread into egg mixture, coating each side.

3. Press both sides of bread into graham cracker crumbs.

4. Melt about 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet. Add two slices of coated bread to skillet and cook until brown and crispy. Add more butter to the skillet and flip bread over to finish cooking. Repeat cooking process with remaining bread slices.

5. To assemble, layer chocolate bar pieces and marshmallows atop two slices of French toast. Top with remaining French toast slices, and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
